**Location Overview** With its prime location in the heart of downtown, the OPO Building provides easy access to major transportation hubs, including Union Station and multiple CTA lines, making it convenient for commuters. The building is home to a variety of amenities, including restaurants, a fitness center, and collaborative workspaces, creating a vibrant and dynamic work environment in one of Chicago's most iconic areas.**Role Overview** * Driving the risk management framework implementation and ongoing maintenance within the U.S.* Collaborating closely with the business as well as other control function leaders to ensure an integrated three lines of defense* Acting as a trusted advisor to senior executives, shaping risk strategy, and embedding risk management principles into business planning and operational execution* Preparing and presenting regular risk dashboards, reports, and insights to senior management, advising on emerging trends and issues* Maintaining knowledge of current and emerging best practices, including regulatory expectations, for risk management* Collaborating with the business to develop meaningful key performance indicators and key risk indicators, enabling data-driven risk management and performance optimization* Fostering a culture of risk awareness and proactive risk management throughout the organization* 10+ years of progressive experience in risk management* Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, risk management, or related field; advanced degree preferred* Deep knowledge of risk management principles and practices* Risk management experience in a Systemically Important Financial Institution or Systemically Important Financial Market Utility* Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex data to identify actionable insights* Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to concisely convey complex risk framework components to diverse audiencesWithin the range, individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
