As a result, a full-time position is available for an experienced project architect at either our Middleton, WI (greater Madison area) or Milwaukee, WI offices. This position would lead project execution teams focused on delivering architectural services for federal defense and/or laboratory projects.
Responsibilities Include
Coordinating multi-disciplinary in-house and sub-consultant team members Working closely with clients and contractor/developer design/build partners Assisting the Project Manager with pursuing projects Coordinating and leading project teams Building and maintaining strong client relationships Developing and executing project workplans; scheduling and facilitating team and client meetings Developing and delivering presentations to clients, partners, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
A valid driver's license is required. As a national practice, this position is expected to travel up to 25%.
The Successful Candidate Must Have All The Following
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in architecture from an accredited college or university At least 10 years of relevant experience Current architectural license in the state office is located
The Ideal Candidate Will Have Any/all The Following
Experience preparing deliverables for each stage of project development for federal defense or laboratory facilities Experience providing bidding and construction administration phase services for federal defense or laboratory facilities Experience leading architectural services for other federal agency project types LEED AP, WELL Accredited Professional, or Guiding Principles Compliance Professional NCARB-Certified Experience leading architectural services for aviation facilities projects is a plus
