Project Engineer – HVAC Systems & Chiller Installation

[Job ID: 1054821] Responsibilities: Establish project team, project name, number, and document files. Work with the main building contractor’s master schedule. Check and review system design and specifications for compliance and performance. Appoint sub-contractors for different trades and establish their scope of work and liabilities. Manage and set up the allocated site office and storage. Submit shop drawings, equipment delivery schedule, and material samples to the main contractor for approval. Plan and monitor equipment delivery to the job site. Participate in job-site meetings, including technical and nominated sub-contract (NSC) coordination meetings. Ensure job-site safety standards comply with relevant regulatory authorities. Monitor, assess, and evaluate the performance of sub-contractors for future reference. Submit monthly progressive claims to the main contractor for certification by consultants. Prepare monthly financial status reports for the Accounts Department and manage sub-contractors' claims and payment processes. Check and supervise project final testing and commissioning. Prepare and submit as-built drawings, hand-over kits, and operational and maintenance manuals. Establish a maintenance service program during the Defects Liability period. Prepare overall project reports. Work with department heads to prepare budgets and forecasts and complete the annual budget on time. Prepare financial and statistical reports. Perform any other duties assigned by the superior. Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering Experience in project handling, preferably dealing with air-conditioning, chiller, or HVAC systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
