What You Will Be Doing
The Business Development Sales Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and generating sales within the security industry. This individual will work across strategic accounts, channel partners, and direct customers to grow revenue and build long-term partnerships.
What Your Primary Responsibilities Will Be
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand customer base and drive growth in target markets Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with system integrators, distributors, end-users, and strategic partners Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing, using a consultative sales approach Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive positioning, and customer needs Present solutions, conduct product demonstrations, and deliver value propositions tailored to each client Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts in collaboration with the legal and finance teams Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings Work closely with marketing and product teams to align messaging, generate demand, and provide market feedback Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates for leadership Maintain accurate records in CRM system
What You Will Need
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus 5+ years of business development or sales experience, preferably in the security industry (CCTV, access control, video surveillance, etc.) Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment Deep understanding of the security technology ecosystem, including channels, integrators, and enterprise customers Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment Willingness to travel as needed (up to 30-50%) Bilingual (Chinese and English) required
Physical Demands
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time if needed May be required to stand for long periods of time Constantly operates a computer and possibly other work related machinery Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing, or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine including repetitive motions Constantly receiving detailed information through oral communication Constant talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas by means of verbal communication Constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and noise levels
