The
Tulane University School of Medicine, Department of Physiology
seeks to fill
ONE Professor of Practice (PoP)
position to begin July 1, 2025. The position is a
full-time academic year (nine-month) teaching position
(3,3 load) with renewable 3-year appointment. The responsibilities will include teaching graduate-level lectures and laboratory courses, advising MS students, and providing service to the program and institution. Applicants should be able to teach lecture and laboratory courses in fundamental Physiology (respiratory physiology, membrane physiology, cell and molecular physiology, systems physiology) and their areas of specialty.
The Department of Physiology is a basic science department in Tulane University School of Medicine. You will join a program with a long, successful history of undergraduate, master's, and graduate education and many resources for excellent teaching. Tulane University is a member of the Association of American Universities (AAU).
We will begin reviewing applications in mid April-May and will continue until the position is filled.
Qualifications
A doctorate in Physiology or a related field is required.
