PM Back of House Team Leader
As a Back of House Team Leader at Chick-fil-A, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the kitchen operations to ensure the efficient preparation and delivery of high-quality food to our guests. You will provide guidance and support to the Back of House team, maintaining Chick-fil-A's standards of excellence in food safety, quality, cleanliness, and efficiency. Your leadership, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence will contribute to the success of our restaurant and the satisfaction of our guests. Delegate tasks effectively, assigning responsibilities based on team members' strengths and abilities, and ensuring proper training and support. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and mutual respect among team members. Food Preparation and Quality: Oversee food preparation activities, ensuring adherence to Chick-fil-A's recipes, portioning guidelines, and quality standards. Monitor food quality and presentation, conducting regular inspections to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish. Uphold Chick-fil-A's commitment to food safety, implementing proper sanitation procedures and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Operational Excellence: Assist in the management of kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and equipment maintenance. Optimize workflow and production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize waste, while maintaining quality and freshness. Collaborate with Front of House Team Leaders and other leaders to ensure seamless coordination between the kitchen and service areas. Training and Development: Train and onboard new Back of House team members, providing instruction on Chick-fil-A's food preparation standards, safety protocols, and operational procedures. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members, supporting their professional growth and development. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to share ideas for process enhancements and efficiency improvements. Qualifications and Requirements: Previous leadership experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to effectively lead and motivate a team. Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and best practices. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain a positive attitude during peak periods of activity. Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent workplace injuries and ensure a secure environment for all team members. Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying objects (up to 50 pounds), and working in temperature-controlled environments.
