Responsibilities
Lead the development and management of IT Service Management (ITSM) strategies, processes, and frameworks to drive efficient service delivery and alignment with mission objectives.
Design, optimize, and integrate ITSM processes across the Enterprise Information Environment (EIE), fostering operational excellence and interoperability.
Create and maintain comprehensive ITSM processes, ensuring seamless interoperability across the EIE.
Oversee the design and execution of IT service delivery processes, including incident, problem, change, and configuration management.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align ITSM processes with broader IT and business strategies.
Develop and maintain an accurate service catalog supporting lifecycle management.
Document and manage the current IT environment to facilitate effective service management and decision-making.
Identify and address inefficiencies in ITSM processes, reducing technical debt and improving service delivery.
Leverage data-driven insights to refine ITSM practices and enhance mission effectiveness.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field
10+ years of experience supporting large-scale or DoD IT environments
Extensive experience with ServiceNow in administrative or configuration roles
Deep knowledge of ITIL frameworks, including implementation and lifecycle management
Experience developing process documentation, workflows, and training materials
Familiarity with DoD IT environments and standards
Strong communication and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in related field
ITIL v4 Foundation certification (must obtain within 90 days if not already held)
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Implementation Specialist
Certifications in other ITSM platforms
Experience supporting DoD environments
Knowledge of DevSecOps, Agile, and Lean IT frameworks
Knowledge of configuration management, asset management, and CMDB governance
Experience integrating ITSM with monitoring and orchestration tools
Additional Requirements
Secret clearance required, with ability to obtain TS/SCI
DoD 8570 Baseline & CE certifications (e.g., Security+ CE)
