We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Business Development to join our Idaho division for an opportunity to grow and develop within the HOA industry. This role offers the chance to shape strategy, drive revenue, and play a key role in expanding Keystone’s market presence.
Summary:
The Director of Business Development plays a pivotal role in driving and executing the company's sales strategy and growth objectives. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing prospects, building strong industry relationships, and converting leads into long-term clients. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategic thinker and hands-on closer who is energized by goals and motivated by creating value through meaningful client partnerships. You will oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of all sales and marketing functions including sales cycle, branding, placement, advertising, digital media, and public relations to ensure successful business development outcomes and meet annual revenue goals. Plans, designs, develops, organizes, implements, and directs the company's sales and marketing functions to ensure efficient and effective sales processes and evaluate its performance. Develops the company’s annual sales and marketing plan and budget with an overall strategy to increase revenues, control expenses, and provide a return on investment. Participates in the company’s sales strategic planning process. Follows trends, economic and social influences, and industry direction to make recommendations that support the company’s vision. Oversees public relations strategy and implementation. Leverages and integrates company branding including brand strategy, brand asset management, and marketing campaigns with sales strategy and tactics. Manages daily operations and provides guidance and direction to ensure department success overall. Assists with new client transitions to ensure all are integrated into Keystone Pacific’s processes. Analyzes requirements of marketing opportunities. Analyzes sales and marketing data, tracks key performance indicators (KPIs), and recommends strategy adjustments to improve outcomes. Practices and adheres to Keystone’s Core Values, Mission, and Vision. Any additional job duties as required by the supervisor. Qualification Requirements: Valid Driver’s License, clean MVR, reliable transportation, and ability to drive. Demonstrated success in establishing strategic direction and driving results. Strong knowledge of branding trends and strategies. Ability to develop successful sales and marketing strategies. Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Ability to develop and manage budgets. Verifiable references. Able to pass a background check. Commission: Base Salary + Commission = On Target Earnings (OTE) of $95,000 to $115,000 annually. Earnings above based on achieving annual targets; however, the Commission for this role is Uncapped. Attributes Needed for Success: Goal-driven and resilient. Views rejection as a step closer to closing a deal. Excellent communicator with strong presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skills. Strategic, yet hands-on and comfortable in both planning and execution. High attention to detail, follow-through, and client relationship management. Positive, self-starter attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Team player who collaborates across departments but takes initiative independently. Education and/or Experience: Minimum 3 years of consultative sales/marketing experience and in a management role. Bachelor's Degree with a focus in business, sales, marketing, or a related field required. High School Diploma or GED required. HOA experience is a plus.
