General Manager

As a General Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind your store’s success, leading the team to deliver outstanding service and operational excellence. What You’ll Do As a General Manager, you will: Oversee all aspects of store operations, including staffing, training, scheduling, inventory, and financial performance Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team including assistant managers and shift leaders Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and quality standards Drive sales growth and operational efficiency Handle customer service issues with professionalism and care Manage budgeting, labor costs, and ordering Represent the store as a leader in the community Training & Development Please note that becoming a fully independent General Manager at Jersey Mike’s involves a comprehensive training process lasting 8 to 16 weeks, including: Learning every position in the store and managing during busy periods Training on back-of-house duties such as inventory, scheduling, and other managerial tasks Participating in Jersey Mike’s 3-phase management training program Completing an intensive week-long training in New Jersey as the final phase This phased approach ensures you are fully prepared and confident before running your store independently Qualifications Proven leadership and management experience in a fast-paced retail or food service environment preferred Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to lead a team, manage multiple priorities, and drive results Reliable transportation and flexible availability, including nights and weekends Commitment to Jersey Mike’s values of quality, service, and teamwork Benefits & Perks Competitive salary plus performance-based bonuses Paid management training, including travel to New Jersey Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holiday pay Opportunities for career growth within a fast-expanding brand Employee discounts and free subs during shifts Locations Hiring Novi Brighton Milford Commerce Ready to Lead at the Next Level?
