Client Advocate Associate
The Client Advocate Associate plays a crucial role on our team here at Deland, Gibson. In this role, you will work with a team to provide tremendous service to our clients, learning all aspects of insurance to find the best fit.
What you’ll do:
Be a sponge – strive for leading‑edge knowledge of all agency verticals
Provide clients with industry‑leading customer experience
Work with a team of 9 and do whatever is needed to get the job done – have a “can‑do” attitude!
Assist with Certificates of Insurance, applications, cancellations, and other client paperwork needs
Learn and master our CRM System – Applied EPIC
Communicate with carriers via phone and email to problem‑solve
What you’ll learn:
Proper and effective communication skills with executives
Business etiquette with customers
Time management and prioritization skills
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree with interest in all things Insurance
Ability to be flexible in the Small Business environment
Self‑motivation and accountability to get the job done
An eye for detail and great written and verbal communication skills
Grit and organization skills to complete detailed tasks
Shortly, the position is to advise and consult businesses and high‑net‑worth families on lowering their Total Cost of Risk.
Responsibilities:
Prospect and initiate new business sales for Personal, Commercial, Benefits and HR Consulting Services.
Assist in the processing of new business. Includes contacting customers to finalize sales, service, and consulting transactions.
Identify prospects, utilizing personal network, identified industry verticals and develop referral sources.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training, plus 5 years of relevant work experience necessary.
Excellent verbal, written communication, analytical and soft skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks with varying time constraints.
General working knowledge of company’s services, products and marketing techniques, insurance contracts, preferred but not required.
Having a large personal and business network is essential.
Must be entrepreneurial with a high level of business acumen.
Have strong commercial lines knowledge.
