The employment law department continues to grow. Michael Sullivan & Associates seeks an Associate Attorney with 5+ years of Employment Law experience.
Base pay range $175,000.00/yr – $230,000.00/yr
Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience
Experience in Employment Law compliance documents & wage/hour audits
Experience in compliance, employee handbooks, employment law defense, and litigation
Well‑established and exclusive employment litigation, defense background
School district defense experience required
Trial experience preferred, but not required
Experience with public entity defense a plus
Knowledge of class/PAGA inclusive
Bachelor’s and Juris Doctor degrees
Member of State Bar of California in good standing
Superior research, analytical, and negotiating ability
Excellent written and oral communication
Commitment to proactive case management
Work Environment When applicable and appropriate, consideration will be given to reasonable accommodations.
Mental:
Clear and conceptual thinking; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion; ability to handle work‑related stress; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Physical:
Computer keyboarding, travel as required.
