Division Chief of Integrative Biomedical Imaging Informatics at Stanford (IBIIS)
The Department of Radiology at Stanford School of Medicine is searching for a Division Chief of Integrative Biomedical Imaging Informatics at Stanford (IBIIS). This full‑time appointment will be in the University Tenure Line or Non‑Tenure Line (Research) at the Associate or Full Professor rank.
IBIIS faculty focus on pioneering, translating, teaching and disseminating Artificial Intelligence and other methods in data science that integrate imaging, clinical, and omics data to better understand the molecular mechanisms of diseases and to improve the accuracy and efficiency of clinical care. In addition to contributions in their own specific research areas, the Division Chief of IBIIS will be responsible for the research and teaching activities of the Division.
Ideal candidate :
Demonstrated scholarly achievement in their area of expertise.
Experience mentoring junior faculty.
Teaching excellence.
Track‑record of securing NIH, industrial, and/or other funding.
Exceptional leadership and administrative skills.
Qualifications :
PhD and/or MD and/or equivalent degree with a background in computer science, engineering, physics, biomedical informatics, data science, imaging science, or another related field.
Motivated individuals committed to excellence in research and training the next generation of researchers.
