Base Pay Range $180,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.

Coordinate, analyze, and report financial performance to Management and Board of Directors.

Prepare short- and long-term financial forecasts for internal management and external partners.

Oversee audit and tax functions, coordinating activities with external audit firms and reviewing performance.

Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive job cost system.

Direct and analyze studies of general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the organization.

Report variances from the established budget and explain their causes.

Assist management in formulating overarching strategic direction.

Engage the finance committee of the board of directors to develop financial plans and projections.

Represent the company to financial partners, including institutions, investors, auditors, and public officials.

Remain up to date on nonprofit audit best practices and state and federal law regarding nonprofit operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; MBA or CPA preferred.

5+ years of managerial finance or equivalent experience.

Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and GAAP.

Advanced knowledge of financial and accounting software applications.

Advanced knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.

Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports, statements, and projections.

Working knowledge of short- and long-term budgeting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis.

Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to motivate teams to produce quality deliverables within tight timeframes and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.

Full-time position; Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with occasional evening or weekend work as required.

Experience with startups and high‑tech manufacturing industries is a plus.

Proven experience in financial statement preparation and analysis.

Demonstrated leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.

Excellent analytical, abstract reasoning, and organizational skills.

Proven ability to work in a cross‑functional, fast‑paced environment and to lead complex operational initiatives.

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to a non‑financial audience.
