Varied 9-hour shifts; 10-12 shifts per month
Weekly Hours:
Approximately 40
Estimated Weekly Pay:
$6,540 - $7,750 per week
Patient Volume:
1.4 patients per hour
EMR System:
EPIC
Travel, lodging, and car rental provided for non-local emergency physicians
Emergency Medicine Physician Qualifications
Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM required)
Active North Dakota medical license (ND emergency medicine jobs)
Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS, DEA
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in emergency medicine
Proficient in intubation, chest tubes, central lines, procedural sedation, OB/GYN procedures and deliveries, adult and pediatric resuscitation
Emergency Medicine Physician Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive emergency care to adult and pediatric patients in a Level II Trauma Center
Perform advanced emergency procedures: intubation, chest tube placement, central lines, procedural sedation
Manage OB/GYN emergencies and deliveries as required
Lead resuscitation efforts for adult and pediatric patients
Accurately document all patient care and procedures in the EPIC EMR system
Collaborate with multidisciplinary hospital staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
