HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST JOB DESCRIPTION
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer
Job Type: Full-time, Exempt
Location: Las Vegas, NV 89148 (Onsite)
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 DOE
Position Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support our growing team. In this role, you will manage recruitment and hiring processes as needed, while primarily overseeing core HR functions such as onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, employee records, compliance, and performance management support. You will work closely with leadership to enhance employee satisfaction through engagement initiatives, timely issue resolution, and ongoing process improvement. This position is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute to building a positive, efficient, and compliant workplace culture.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manage recruitment and hiring processes aligned with business needs
Oversee all administrative functions related to employee onboarding and offboarding
Maintain accurate HR records, including new hires, terminations, job changes, and tracking of time off and leaves
Provide administrative support to the CEO in resolving employee issues and enhancing job satisfaction
Organize and coordinate team-building activities in collaboration with the employee engagement team
Support performance management processes and assist with related documentation
Coordinate with external benefits brokers and providers to administer employee benefits, resolve coverage issues, and manage open enrollment and renewals
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws as well as internal company policies
Act as a reliable team member with strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization to foster a harmonious work environment
Required Experience and Abilities
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Administrator.
Solid understanding of core HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Basic knowledge of employment and labor laws.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides); familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven team player.
Additional HR training or certification is a plus.
