Performance Improvement Engineer – Administration Services

Work location: Texas Health Dallas - 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, TX 75231
Work hours: Full Time Days, 40 hours a week. Monday through Friday, 8 hours daily. Typically, 8:00am‑5:00pm. Weekends depending on project.
Administration Services Department highlights
Works inside the hospital alongside other leaders to drive process improvement initiatives
No direct patient care responsibilities; focuses on identifying processes that enhance patient care
Collaborates with multiple hospital departments, including: Surgery, Emergency Department (ED), Engineering, Environmental Services (EVS), Nursing, Executive Team
Here’s What You Need
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or relevant field is required
Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or relevant field is preferred
5 years of experience leading organizational change and process improvement, including project management, change management, performance improvement
SSBB - Six Sigma Black Belt Certification (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt) required; Master Black Belt preferred
What You Will Do
Generate change through influence using a proven framework to accelerate organizational transformation
Provide work groups, committees, and task forces with facilitation, educational, and communication skills (written and verbal)
Use effective chartering techniques to scope projects and link them to the organization’s strategic plan, KPIs, and key work processes
Work independently to complete projects on time, achieving milestones and deliverables
Demonstrate advanced understanding of improvement methodology; use qualitative and quantitative data; deploy statistical process control for data analysis
Act as subject matter expert in change management and improvement/design; develop and deploy training materials; mentor partners
