Performance Improvement Engineer – Full Time, Days
Join Texas Health Resources as a Performance Improvement Engineer and help drive process improvement initiatives within the Hospital Administration Services Department.
Work location:
Texas Health Dallas – 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, TX 75231
Work hours:
Full Time Days, 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm). Weekends may be required depending on project.
Administration Services Department Highlights
Works inside the hospital alongside other leaders to drive process improvement initiatives.
No direct patient care responsibilities; focuses on identifying processes that enhance patient care.
Collaborates with multiple hospital departments, including:
Surgery
Emergency Department (ED)
Engineering
Environmental Services (EVS)
Nursing
Executive Team
Here’s What You Need
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or relevant field required.
Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or relevant field preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience leading organizational change and process improvement (project management, change management, performance improvement, etc.).
Six Sigma Black Belt Certification required; Master Black Belt preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills; ability to operate independently and support the Master Black Belt / PI Director.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Minitab; excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
What You Will Do
Generate change through influence, using proven frameworks to accelerate organizational transformation.
Provide facilitation, education, and communication skills to work groups, committees, and task forces.
Use chartering techniques to scope projects and link them to strategic plans, KPIs, and key processes.
Work independently to complete projects on schedule, achieving milestones and deliverables.
Apply qualitative and quantitative improvement methodology, including data organization, display, and statistical process control for analysis.
Serve as subject‑matter expert in change management and improvement/design; develop and deploy training materials and mentor colleagues.
