is looking for a
Corporate Development Director
to lead the organization’s strategic growth initiatives, including Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Investor Relations (IR), strategic partnerships, market expansion, and cross‑functional corporate projects. This role works directly with the Executive Leadership Team to identify, assess, and deliver opportunities that enhance the company’s competitive position and support long‑term value creation.
The position requires a leader with strong strategic thinking, solid financial expertise, project management and people skills, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder environments. It blends analysis with hands‑on execution, calling for someone who can shape strategy as well as drive projects to completion and translate ideas into measurable business results. The role involves managing a team, travelling as required, and reporting directly to the Chief Corporate Development Officer.
Responsibilities
Lead A‑Z the corporate development team in sourcing, evaluating and analyzing potential M&A opportunities.
Work with cross‑functional teams to lead the development and execution of the M&A strategy and process – covering company, market and competitive analysis; project management; negotiation; pricing and financial impact assessment (with financial modelling and sensitivity analyses); deal structuring; due diligence; and full transaction documentation.
Prepare presentations and other materials for executive leadership and board meetings related to M&A opportunities.
Collaborate closely with internal and external functions (e.g. legal, finance).
Lead the Investor Relations (IR) function.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics.
Master’s degree in a relevant field.
15 years’ experience in Investment Banking/Corporate Development.
Experience in leading corporate environments such as banking, consulting, or private equity.
Experience in leading cross‑functional teams, managing senior stakeholders, and driving complex transactions.
Excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification desired – LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus). Good knowledge of other languages will be considered an asset.
Excellent IT skills, ECDL Core/Expert certification considered a plus.
Excellent Project Management skills, PRINCE2 certification viewed as an advantage.
Passionate AI user (AI Champion mentality).
Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication skills.
Strong analytical capabilities and advanced financial modelling skills.
Team‑playing approach and stakeholder management skills.
Critical thinking, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
