Position Overview The primary duties of the positions will be providing perioperative care at the University Hospital The James Comprehensive Cancer Hospital on the main campus and our expanding outpatient surgical centers. The department prides itself on close collaborative interaction as a member of a diverse and inclusive team. Leadership opportunities are available for qualified candidates.

Department/Division Overview The Department of Anesthesiology is composed of 128 physicians, 103 CRNAs/CAAs, 10 clinician scientists, 80 residents, 9 fellows, a large complement of anesthesia technicians and 13 administrative support staff. Comprised of six academic divisions—Critical Care, Pain, Cardiothoracic, OB, Ambulatory and General Anesthesia—the department provides comprehensive anesthesia services throughout the health system, including off‑site and regional locations.

Requirements

MD or DO

Successful completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology

Eligible for an Ohio Medical License
