Physician – Department of Anesthesiology, General Anesthesiologist (Open Rank/Track Faculty) We invite highly credentialed anesthesiologists to join the Department of Anesthesiology at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. The position is available as Assistant, Associate, or Professor and includes clinical duties at University Hospital, James Comprehensive Cancer Hospital, and expanding outpatient centers.

Position Overview Primary duties include perioperative care, education of residents/fellows, and participation in faculty research and academic advancement.

Responsibilities

Provide perioperative anesthesia care at multiple campus sites and outpatient surgical centers.

Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and students in clinical and didactic settings.

Engage in scholarly research, grant writing, and publication to advance anesthesiology.

Participate in departmental committees and leadership activities.

Maintain clinical competency and compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

MD or DO with Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.

Successful completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program.

Eligibility for Ohio Medical License.

Ex interest in education and/or research and commitment to clinical excellence.
