Job Overview Title: Territory Sales Manager (Boston, MA)

Responsibilities: Outside sales representative who travels extensively to meet with customers, visit job sites, and build lasting relationships with mechanical contractors, engineers, and project owners.

Responsibilities

Learn Victaulic’s product portfolio and provide tailored solutions to customers.

Understand the construction industry, including grooved mechanical pipe joining, welding, flanging, and competitive methods.

Track construction cycles, identify major projects, and stay current with market trends and competitor activity.

Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to develop a business plan, execute project pursuit, and manage the entire purchase order cycle from design through final commissioning and after‑sale support.

Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, engineers, owners, and local trade organizations.

Educate customers on product value and influence purchasing decisions through demos, lunches, and presentations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (preferred).

Previous sales experience selling value‑added products, preferably in commercial construction, PVF industry (pipes, valves, fittings), or mechanical products.

Track record of developing and nurturing long‑standing relationships.

Self‑motivated, self‑driven, with excellent communication, presentation, problem‑solving, and creative thinking skills.

Strong organization, time‑management, and project‑management abilities.

Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight trips, and to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Capacity to lift 50+ pounds and withstand adverse weather conditions.
