Responsibilities As a Director of the Risk & Regulatory Advisory team, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert and advise financial institutions on a broad range of credit risk management topics with a keen focus on wholesale loan transformation initiatives for First and Second Line of Defense. You will work on a team evaluating, designing, and implementing wholesale banking risk strategies. Key areas include:

Wholesale banking including lending and trading products and processes

Governance policy, standards, and procedure assessment and development

Target Operating Model design, build, and implementation

Risk data management and data governance

Quality analysis and remediation

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor Degree

10 years of experience

Master Degree

Fields of Study: Business Administration/Management, Information Systems Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Financial Mathematics, Mathematics, Accounting & Finance, Finance, Financial Markets, Economics, Quantitative Finance, Banking and Finance, Business Analytics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

Leveraging know-how of commercial and retail lending and lending cycle.

Experience with risk reporting and BCBS 239 principles.

Design and deliver effective solutions to transform banks’ risk reporting processes.

Work with cross-functional teams to analyze, modify and build/assess process workflows & controls in Risk Reporting.

Conduct current state assessment, gap analysis and Target Operating Model design, build, and implementation for Risk reporting processes.

Assess Risk management policies, procedures and standards and develop/update them as needed.

Perform regulatory remediation work and prepare documentation to evidence compliance.

Develop data requirements and metrics to resolve data quality issues.

Identify data quality issues and perform root-cause analysis and remediation.

General understanding of Internal Audit and Quality Assurance processes and expectations.

Compensation Salary range: $155,000 - $410,000. Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range.
