Position Summary
The Global President is the senior executive leader responsible for directing the organization’s worldwide operations, overall performance, and long-term growth trajectory. As part of the executive leadership team, this individual will shape and guide the company’s global strategy, ensuring alignment with its mission and future objectives across all international markets.
This leader must be highly driven, adaptable, and commercially minded, with the ability to elevate both operational and market performance. The Global President will strengthen global market positioning, champion a culture of quality and continuous improvement, and ensure that the organization consistently meets regulatory and operational requirements. Primary Responsibilities Strategic Leadership
Defines and delivers a global strategy that advances the organization’s vision and long‑term priorities.
Drives sustainable and profitable expansion by pursuing new market opportunities and ensuring consistent operational execution.
Converts strategic goals into executable plans, complete with measurable KPIs, milestones, and ownership.
Partners closely with the CEO and executive team, offering insights and recommendations that support informed decision‑making.
Market Expansion & Commercial Strategy
Evaluates and prioritizes opportunities for growth across geographies, offerings, partnerships, and investments.
Directs global commercial strategy, including pricing, go‑to‑market plans, sales channels, and customer experience programs.
Operational Performance
Fosters a culture grounded in operational excellence, emphasizing continuous improvement, scalable systems, and efficient capacity planning.
Oversees worldwide operations to ensure strong alignment with financial targets, operational objectives, and customer satisfaction goals.
Promotes collaboration across all functional areas to enable enterprise‑wide success.
Quality, Governance & Compliance
Ensures global compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality frameworks.
Enhances risk management practices and reinforces governance across the organization.
Anticipates operational or regulatory challenges and leads proactive measures to safeguard product integrity and organizational compliance.
Financial Stewardship
Holds full responsibility for the global P&L, driving profitable growth and disciplined cost management.
Leads the development of budgets, forecasts, and multi‑year financial plans.
Allocates resources effectively to support key strategic initiatives, innovation, and future scalability.
Global People & Culture Leadership
Guides and develops the global leadership team, establishing clear performance expectations, communication practices, and accountability measures.
Ensures effective communication of organizational priorities to build alignment and engagement across the company.
Builds a high‑performing, inclusive culture grounded in transparency, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
Recruits, develops, and retains world‑class talent, reinforcing strong succession planning across regions.
Strengthens relationships with customers, partners, regulatory agencies, and key global stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline required; advanced degree preferred (MBA or equivalent).
At least 15 years of progressive leadership experience within highly regulated sectors (such as healthcare, life sciences, or advanced manufacturing), including global P&L oversight.
Demonstrated success leading global teams and scaling operational, commercial, and manufacturing capabilities across diverse regions.
Comprehensive knowledge of global quality systems and regulatory frameworks relevant to the organization’s industry.
Experience overseeing multiple functional areas within an operational leadership role.
Strong proficiency in KPI‑driven leadership and performance management practices.
Excellent executive presence, communication skills, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and build high‑performing global teams while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, inclusion, and collaboration.
