Specific research functions The successful candidate will conduct research in the field of digestive diseases, with a particular focus on inflammatory and neoplastic diseases of gastroenterological interest. They will also be required to promote clinical studies and collaborate with Italian and international research networks in the field of gastroenterology. Specific teaching functions The successful candidate will carry out teaching activities, both classroom-based and tutoring, supplementary teaching and student services in the SSD MEDS-10/A Gastroenterology, both as part of the teaching program of the Department of Medical, Surgical and Neuroscience Sciences of the University of Siena and in other teaching activities specific to the School of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Siena. Specific assistance functions The successful candidat will be actively involved in managing patients with digestive diseases, both on an outpatient and inpatient basis, and will mainly perform diagnostic and therapeutic digestive endoscopy at the AOU Senese. Maximum of scientific publications to submit: 12 Foreign language, the adequate knowledge of which will be assessed in the manner established by the Commission: english.
