Batch Processing Technician, Liquid Chemicals

Ready to run precise chemical batches in a fast-moving liquid coatings operation? NPAA’s Cleveland Liquid Division is looking for a hands‑on Batch Processing Technician who thrives on following SOPs, keeping equipment spotless, and documenting every step for quality excellence.
What you will do
Follow SOPs to stage materials, calculate batch amounts, and select the right vessels and tools.
Operate production equipment; disassemble, clean, and reassemble to posted conditions between runs.
Document batch data, equipment entries, and quality checks with complete accuracy.
Package finished blends into specified containers; label, secure, and move to warehouse staging.
Raise any issues to your team leader/supervisor and participate in all required company training.
Manage hazardous and general liquid waste appropriately—ensure containers are labeled, covered, and staged—and immediately report accidents, near misses, or property damage.
Must‑haves
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Pass a basic math test.
Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
Technical & Physical Capabilities
Make straightforward independent decisions; perform addition and subtraction confidently.
Convert units (e.g., grams to pounds) and use quality control instruments.
Safely operate pallet jacks and powered industrial trucks.
Lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver drums weighing up to 440 lbs.
Pay/Salaray range: $17.39 to $25.75. Compensation is negotiable based on your experience and skill set.
