Position Summary
The Operations Manager oversees daily delivery operations, supports driver performance, ensures safety compliance, and provides real-time problem solving to keep routes running smoothly. This role requires hands‑on leadership, strong decision‑making, and the ability to learn our operations starting with delivery routes.
Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership
Oversee daily dispatch, route planning, launch, and debrief.
Manage staffing, attendance, and schedule adjustments.
Monitor delivery performance, safety metrics, and compliance.
Resolve on‑road and in‑station issues quickly using sound judgment.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and operational documentation.
Team Leadership & Development
Coach, mentor, and support parcel delivery drivers.
Participate in performance feedback, training, and corrective action.

Hands‑On Experience To ensure strong leadership, all managers will:
Complete full delivery routes during onboarding and as needed.
Learn package handling, navigation, customer delivery procedures, and safety standards.
Support delivery operations during call‑outs, weather events, or high‑volume days.
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
Identify operational gaps and propose actionable solutions.
Analyze metrics and trends to improve efficiency and driver performance.
Communicate effectively with leadership and team members.
