Job description: Job Type: Full-time Pay Based on Experience ·
Entry to mid level: $120,000 - $135,000 per year ·
Mid to senior level: $135,000 - $155,000 per year ·
Executive level: $150,000+ ·
Executive level: $150,000+ Schedule: Pharmacy Hours are 8 AM – 6 PM CST, Shift schedules will be determined separately. Monday to Friday In Office

Role Description ·
The Clinical Infusion Pharmacist provides clinical oversight and expert medication management within the Pharmacy Services Department, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient handling of sterile and non-sterile infusion therapies. ·
This role focuses on internal clinical review, coordination, and quality assurance rather than direct patient care. Key Responsibilities • Review, verify, and interpret infusion medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance with clinical guidelines and state/federal regulations. • Provide clinical guidance to pharmacy staff, nurses, prescribers, and care teams related to infusion therapies, dosing, interactions, and monitoring requirements. • Support coordination of infusion treatment plans, including refills, prior authorizations, benefits review, and communication with prescribers. • Ensure proper documentation throughout the medication-use process, maintaining accuracy and adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards. • Assist with formulary management, protocol development, and infusion-related policy updates. • Serve as a clinical resource for escalation of therapy concerns, side-effect discussions, and medication-related troubleshooting. • Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to infusion workflows, patient safety, and operational efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (RPh) degree. • Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in good standing. • BCPS Designation (Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist). • Previous experience in infusion pharmacy, sterile compounding, specialty pharmacy, or related clinical setting preferred. • Strong understanding of infusion therapies, medication protocols, and clinical review processes. • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. • High attention to detail with commitment to accuracy, compliance, and patient safety. • Comfort with EHR/pharmacy software platforms and electronic documentation standards.
