Job Summary:
The Inpatient Pharmacist Level I supports patient care by accurately preparing and dispensing medications, providing pharmacological guidance to the multidisciplinary healthcare team, and monitoring patient drug therapies to ensure safe and effective treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Dispense medications accurately and promptly
• Review and resolve formulary and non-formulary medication requests per policy
• Provide age- and pharmacokinetic-based dosing and therapeutic recommendations using current literature
• Monitor patient drug therapies for safety, efficacy, and interactions
• Educate patients on proper medication use, dosing schedules, side effects, and drug interactions
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Document interventions and medication activities in the EHR
• Support pharmacy operations in a fast-paced inpatient setting
Schedule:
• Monday–Friday | 7.5 hours/day

from a U.S. accredited School/College of Pharmacy (ACPE) • Licensed Pharmacist
