Overview This Quantitative Analyst Risk Analytics will be part of the Business Operations team in the Modeling and Analytics group within the bank’s Finance organization. The successful candidate will manage model and platform requirements, communicate between the M&A Model Operations team and Treasury (including CCAR Stress Testing requirements), build and maintain a backlog of requirements, and collaborate with the Model Ops team lead to prioritize implementation. The role also involves maintaining project deliverables, documenting status, and liaising with the Bus. Ops ACL lead to identify overlapping requirements. It is a fast‑paced role that offers cross‑functional exposure across several key areas of the bank, reporting to the Senior Director, Business Operations, Modeling and Analytics (M&A) Group.
Responsibilities
Process improvement – Lead the successful execution of and improve the interaction model between the M&A Model Ops team, Treasury, and M&A’s modeling teams.
Analysis – Regularly analyze Treasury requirements and maintain them in a streamlined backlog for review with the Model Ops team lead.
Model and business support – Set meeting agendas, track action items, and maintain deliverables including user acceptance criteria.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of experience in financial, statistical, or quantitative analysis OR High School Diploma/GED and 6 years of experience in financial, statistical, or quantitative analysis.
Preferred Skills
Strong organizational skills to manage near‑ and long‑term deliverables.
Strong communication and presentation skills for effective stakeholder management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
Knowledge of project management approaches such as Agile or Scrum.
Entry‑level or better proficiency in coding (R, Python, SAS, SQL, VBA) and database querying (SQL).
