Overview This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office. The Business Analyst II will support Treasury Operations within the Business Solutions & Controls Group, with a primary focus on Financial Institutions Relationship Management (FIRM). This role partners closely with Treasury Operations, Business Risk & Controls, Technology, and Global Banking partners to support initiatives while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and governance frameworks. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of Treasury Operations, risk management, and change execution, supporting critical functions that ensure financial stability, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, experience in financial services operations, and a working knowledge of risk, controls, and process improvement within a regulated environment.
Responsibilities
Support the development, documentation, and maintenance of Treasury Operations controls, procedures, and standards
Assist with risk assessments, control design, and issue remediation activities (e.g., audits, exams, self-identified issues)
Partner with Risk & Controls teams to support RCSA and issue tracking
Gather and document business requirements for Treasury Operations initiatives
Support intake, prioritization, and tracking of business requests and enhancements
Translate business needs into clear requirements, process flows, and functional documentation
Support UAT planning and execution, including test case development and defect tracking
Prepare materials for governance forums, working groups, and stakeholder meetings
Track action items, risks, dependencies, and decisions
Partner with stakeholders to ensure deliverables align with internal policies, regulatory expectations, and standards
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of experience in System Support or Analytics OR High School Diploma or GED and 7 years of experience in System Support or Analytics
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
Experience supporting operational risk, controls, or governance activities
Strong documentation skills (BRDs, process flows, procedures, runbooks)
Experience within Treasury Operations, Cash Management, Liquidity, or Banking Operations
Familiarity with risk and control frameworks (e.g., RCSA, issue management, audit support)
Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, JIRA, MS Project, or similar workflow platforms
Strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on deadlines
Clear written and verbal communication
Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach
