Principal Applied Scientist – Oracle
We are seeking a skilled scientist to drive the development and implementation of cutting‑edge computer vision technologies. In this role you will work with teams of applied scientists and engineers to deliver high‑quality computer vision models and services that delight customers while ensuring data safety and protection.
Responsibilities
Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross‑functional teams to integrate computer vision capabilities into various applications and products.
Innovation: Identify new opportunities for emerging computer vision technologies.
Stay Updated: Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and advancements in computer vision.
Qualifications and Experience
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with a dissertation, thesis or final project centered in Computer Vision and Machine Learning (3+ years relevant experience preferred but not required); OR Masters or Bachelor’s in related field with 5+ years relevant experience.
Strong publication record, including lead author or reviewer, in top‑tier journals or conferences.
Extensive experience in computer vision, deep learning, and image processing.
Proven track record of leading research and development projects.
Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and architectures.
Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication abilities.
Compensation and Benefits US: Hiring Range in USD from: $120,100 – $251,600 per year. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
