Opportunity: Senior Operator - Screening Department The Senior Operator is the technical expert in the Screening department. Responsibilities include overseeing operational tasks, providing mentorship and technical guidance to team members, and collaborating closely with team leaders and managers to achieve production targets efficiently.
What You’ll Do Operational Leadership
Execute daily production tasks to meet quality and output targets.
Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, ensuring adherence to operational procedures and safety protocols.
Make time for questions, provide training, and support to ensure team members understand expectations and effectively execute tasks.
Collaboration and Performance Management
Collaborate closely with managers and team leaders to ensure production targets are met and challenges are addressed promptly.
Provide insights and recommendations to optimize processes and improve production efficiency.
Assist in evaluating and implementing process improvements to enhance quality and productivity.
Quality Assurance
Conduct regular inspections of products to maintain high standards of quality and compliance with specifications.
Uphold safety standards and environmental regulations, ensuring adherence across all operational activities.
Promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.
Team Coordination
Partner with the Team Leader to address performance issues and determine root causes.
Provide direct training and feedback to team members to enhance skills and productivity.
Assist in evaluating candidates through skill tests during the hiring process.
Equipment Maintenance
Regularly inspect equipment for defects or maintenance needs.
Report issues to management and coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs.
Conduct daily or weekly assessments of workstations and floors, scheduling cleaning times to minimize production disruptions.
Safety and Compliance
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
Handle hazardous materials responsibly and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.
What You’ll Bring
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in manufacturing is preferred.
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a track record of achieving results and expertise in the department.
Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing, quality control principles, and safety procedures.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with manufacturing software applications is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity or experience in PCB Screening.
Experience with ProCIM.

California Pay Range: $24 USD - $27 USD
