Lead Finance Transformation Analyst – Data Analytics
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA (potentially 100% remote or in‑office)

We are seeking an experienced finance transformation leader to design, plan, and implement modern, data‑driven finance processes and systems. The role will drive end‑to‑end automation, standardization, and transparency across the finance function.
Job Summary Lead and implement larger‑scale projects to modernize Transamerica’s finance function by establishing integrated, standardized, and automated end‑to‑end processes that enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in financial data and reporting.
Responsibilities
Use finance, project management, and systems expertise to lead large finance transformation projects, formulate plans, oversee timelines, and ensure project execution aligns with objectives.
Provide direction to consultants and team members on best practices in finance and technology integration and delegate project resources cross‑functionally to deliver cost‑effective solutions.
Supervise the integration and optimization of financial systems to meet organizational goals and operational efficiency targets.
Mentor and develop analysts, cultivating team capabilities.
Spearhead innovation in financial processes and systems.
Provide critical analysis and support for strategic decision‑making.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field – or equivalent experience.
8–10 years of experience in project management, finance system integration, and strategic consultation between finance and technology.
Strategic thinker with strong consulting skills and experience guiding finance transformation initiatives.
Proficient in overseeing large‑scale projects and steering outcomes.
Advanced knowledge of finance systems to oversee integrations.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with data intelligence & governance platforms, data integration & workflow automation, database & query management.
Familiarity with cloud and big‑data services, coding environments, and productivity & reporting tools.
Ability to leverage AI tools and automation frameworks to improve data analysis, streamline workflows, and drive innovation.
Working Conditions
Office environment (hybrid or remote options available).
Compensation
Salary range: $96,000 – $115,000 annually (varies with experience, geography, and role).
Annual bonus potential in line with the Company Bonus Plan.
