is seeking a dedicated Part-Time board-certified/board-eligible Neurology physician for Neuromuscular to join us in pursuit of high-quality patient care. This opportunity is for someone interested in helping grow our Neurology service line, providing exceptional patient care, and contributing to our organization's mission of delivering high-quality services. It is a Part-time position where you can expect cases across the inpatient and outpatient setting, and possibly some shared on-call responsibilities.

Job Summary A Neurologist is a medical doctor who specializes in diagnosing, treating, and managing disorders of the nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. This role involves both clinical and diagnostic responsibilities, often in outpatient or hospital settings.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive neurological examinations and assessments.
Diagnose neurological disorders using patient history, physical exams, and diagnostic tools (e.g., MRI, CT, EEG).
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Consult with patients on aftercare and long-term health management strategies.
Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatments or medication as needed.
Order tests and interpret results to determine the best treatment options.
Prescribe and manage medications for neurological conditions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., primary care, cardiology, psychiatry).
Educate patients and families about neurological conditions and treatment options.
Perform procedures such as lumbar punctures or botulinum toxin injections (for migraines, dystonia, etc.).
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
Participate in clinical research, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
Completion of an ACGME-accredited neurology residency.
Board certification or eligibility in Neurology (ABPN).
Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
BLS/ACLS certification (as required by institution).
Preferred Skills & Attributes
Strong diagnostic and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in interpreting complex neurological data.
Compassionate, patient-centered approach.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
Leadership skills for mentoring residents or managing clinical teams.
Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and Microsoft Office.
Clinical proficiency in evidence-based medicine.
We offer an attractive salary, paid malpractice, generous paid time off program, CME days plus allowance, retirement benefits, and a competitive benefits package. The position is a full-time 40-hour-per-week schedule to provide outpatient and inpatient rotation and procedures. There are shared on-call responsibilities. Compensation ranges from $300K to $420K (not including bonuses/incentive compensation or benefits) depending on experience. Loan forgiveness programs are available based on eligibility. Visa candidates may be considered. New grads are welcome to apply.
