Chief Nursing Officer – Piedmont Mountainside Hospital Leadership role responsible for the coordination and monitoring of nursing standards and practice throughout the hospital. The CNO collaborates with nurse managers across non‑nursing divisions and ensures patient care standards align with Piedmont Healthcare’s mission, vision, and values.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as role model for professional nursing practices across all hospital settings.

Evaluate and revise systems/processes to achieve patient‑centered outcomes.

Demonstrate accountability for fiscal management.

Represent Nursing and Patient Care in the hospital’s strategic planning.

Provide workforce management for Nursing.

Act as official liaison for medical staff relations.

Maintain community and corporate interactions.

Keep an up‑to‑date knowledge of healthcare trends and data.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a master’s degree in nursing or related field.

Minimum Experience:

Ten or more years of progressively responsible operational, executive, or nursing management positions within a hospital or health system.

Licensure:

Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia.
