HRUCKUS is looking for an experienced Software Documentation Specialist to support a client's technical delivery and services teams by creating, managing, and maintaining all technical documentation for their software products.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities: Developing user manuals, technical specifications, test plans and online help content to ensure clarity and accessibility Organization and maintain companys documents, including cataloging Collaboration with engineers, product managers and other team members to gather information and ensure accuracy Manage documentation projects from inception to completion, including planning, scheduling, and tracking progress to meet deadlines Proactively identifies documentation needs, proposes improvements, and takes ownership of content creation and maintenance processes.
Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, or a related field 4-6 years of experience in creating technical documentation, including test plans and software development guides. Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing Strong organizational skills Proficiency in document management tools
Position Details: This is an onsite role in San Diego, CA. This position will report primarily to a Sr. Director of Engineering and interface with multiple managers across technical delivery and services teams. Salary range is from $82,000 to $85,000 annually.
