- Position includes inpatient, outpatient, rounds, and clinic.
- Reason for coverage is growth and one replacement hire
- Average number of patients per day: Clinic is covered one day/week with APP support in-house and in the clinic.
- Trauma Level II
- A hospital-owned endoscopy center and outpatient clinic on the hospital campus allow for easy access to your patients in any location.
- Teaching opportunities are available through our GME program for those interested in academic involvement.
- Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments.
- Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization.
- Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues.
- ITIL and or other industry certification is preferred.
- PMP is preferred.
- Incumbents may be asked to perform job-related duties beyond those explicitly described.
- Conditions of Employment:
- Employee Health requires all employed providers to complete a health screen per HFHS policy.
- COVID Vaccination Requirement: a provider must be fully vaccinated (unless they have an approved medical or religious exemption) before their application will be forwarded to a specialist during the credentialing process.

- Board Eligible (must become Board Certified within a year) or Board Certified in Gastroenterology - REQUIRED
- MI license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology - REQUIRED
- BLS (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- Clean Malpractice and License History - REQUIRED
- Current COVID and flu vaccinations (note in "Additional Submission Details" field) - REQUIRED
- 5-8 years of GI work experience (note in "Experience" field) - HIGHLY PREFERRED / PREFERRED
- ERCP certification (will also consider someone that needs additional proctoring) - (note level of training in "Additional Certification Details" field) - REQUIRED
- ITIL or other industry certification (note any certifications held in "Additional Submissions Details" field) - HIGHLY PREFERRED / PREFERRED
- PMP certification (note in "Additional Submission Details") - HIGHLY PREFERRED / PREFERRED
