Pride Health is seeking a
Pharmacy Technician
to join a healthcare team in
Houston, TX 77030 . This role focuses on assisting pharmacists in the preparation, compounding, and delivery of medications while ensuring compliance with sterile product preparation standards.
Key Responsibilities Prepare, repackage, and deliver medications under pharmacist supervision. Perform activities related to controlled substances, including procurement, record-keeping, storage, and distribution. Ensure accuracy by entering patient details such as diagnosis, weight, and allergies in the system. Follow aseptic technique and infection control standards for sterile product preparation. Maintain medication stock levels and adhere to non-formulary procedures. Obtain pharmacist verification and label medications with correct dilution and expiration dates.
Qualifications Required: Active RPHT-TX
(Registered Pharmacy Technician - Texas State Board of Pharmacy) or
Pharmacy Intern license. Knowledge of pharmaceutical handling standards and ability to operate sterile preparation equipment. Strong mathematical, reading, and communication skills.

Day shift 9:30am-6pm (Mon-Fri) with a weekend rotation alternating every other weekend 7am- 3:30pm (Sat/ Sun) Contract Length:
13 weeks Pay Rate:
$33 - $35/hour
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
