Position
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Emergency Veterinarian who thrives in a fast‑paced environment to join our highly in‑demand hospital in Turlock, CA. Taylor ER is Stanislaus County’s only 24‑Hour Emergency Hospital. As the only ER in a 20+ mile radius we have a high volume of trauma coming in the door. We are well equipped with state‑of‑the‑art equipment, including a Snyder O2 unit, digital & portable x‑ray, rigid/endoscope, 2 fully equipped OR, 5 exam rooms, skills lab & training classroom, ultrasounds, & a fully remodeled Idexx Lab. Daily rounding and consultations with fellow experienced veterinarians create a team approach to challenging cases and provide a professionally rewarding experience for individuals that like to practice high‑level, compassionate veterinary medicine.
Location Turlock is located in the heart of the Central Valley, close to all things California! Although it’s a rural area, it’s still considered East Bay (San Francisco) making it an easy drive to nearby attractions like Napa Valley, Sacramento, and Oakland. If you are looking to spend time at the beach, horseback riding, biking, hiking, or canoeing; you are a short drive to Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, and all the splendors California has to offer. Home of California State University Stanislaus (CSUS), Turlock provides an amazing opportunity to combine a quality learning environment with relaxed rural living and affordable housing.
