Our client isseeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial activities for our manufacturing operations. This role manages cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting, while providing strategic insights to improve production efficiency and profitability. This is a contract role
Responsibilities:
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for manufacturing operations
Manage cost accounting, inventory valuation, and COGS reporting
Analyze financial and operational performance; provide actionable insights
Perform variance analysis and partner with operations on corrective actions
Support process improvements, cost-reduction initiatives, and capital investment decisions
Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal controls
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CPA/CMA a plus)
5+ years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing
Strong cost accounting, FP&A, and ERP system experience
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
