The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a

Group Reservations Coordinator

to join the team. After a $400M renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever.

Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28‑acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms (to include cottages and villas), 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in‑room dining.

Responsibilities

Process group reservation information including rooming lists, suites, resumes, and billing requirements.

Communicate and verify information between Meeting Planners, Housing Bureaus, Meetings and Conventions, and Front Office.

Answer calls, return e‑mails and voicemails, and assist guests in booking reservations by providing superior property knowledge.

Coordinate and implement department activities and projects.

Audit OnQ PM for reservation accuracy, looking for special requests, coding issues, and billing requirements.

Review actualized rooms for potential billing errors.

Review group pick‑up, assist in ensuring proper availability, and monitor and charge for no‑shows and late cancellations daily.

Review and audit third parties and consolidate.

Assist management by booking transient reservations.

Attend group‑related meetings.

Classification:

Full-Time

Pay Rate:

$22.56, based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

Union Position:

This position is part of the Local Union, which requires complete open availability. We are not able to accommodate schedule restrictions and full‑time hours are not guaranteed. Hours and schedule are based on seniority and business needs and may be minimal at times until seniority is established. You must be comfortable with a schedule and hours that may vary from week to week.
