Summary
Our publicly traded client is seeking a Business Unit Finance Manager to join their team. The Business Unit Finance Manager will support a division and manage their P&L. Our client offers a hybrid work environment and room for growth and promotion.
Responsibilities
Summarize and share division financial results, explaining trends in revenue, expenses, and overall profitability.
Maintain and build financial models to help the company improve performance, manage costs, and use resources effectively.
Work with Corporate FP&A and leadership on annual and quarterly budgets and forecasts.
Partner with other departments and help accounting ensure an accurate and timely month-end close.
Act as a point of contact for operational leaders on all financial needs.
Prepare monthly close reports and develop new executive reports when needed.
Support acquisitions by helping with financial reviews, due diligence, and integration after closing.
Provide analytical support, help improve processes, and encourage new ideas to solve challenges.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or other business area.
5-10 years of experience in accounting and finance.
Experience supporting the business from a finance perspective.
Experience working with large amounts of data.
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
