Locum Hematology/Oncology Clinic + Call Eureka, CA Why This Role
- Full-time Hem/Onc need in an accredited cancer program
- Clinic + phone-only call with no onsite call-backs
- Robust care team including RNs, APPs, and support staff Assignment Details
- Schedule: Full-time, 5 days/week
- Clinic hours: 9a-12p & 1p-4:30p (1-hour lunch)
- Guaranteed hours: 8 per day (OT after 8 hrs; OT must be pre-approved)
- Workload: 12-15 patients per day
- Call: 1 week every 3 weeks - weekday evening phone call; weekends 24-hr phone-only call (no call-backs)
- Setting: Outpatient Hem/Onc + inpatient consult responsibilities (must meet inpatient privileging requirements)
- Support staff: 9-10 RNs, 4 MAs, 3 APPs, 7 office staff
- EMR: Epic
- Privileging note: Provider must have 2 years of recent inpatient activity; clean file required for February start Clinical Details
- Hematology and Medical Oncology management
- Inpatient Hem/Onc consults
- Chemotherapy oversight (clinic attached to infusion center)
- Participation in COC-accredited cancer program (approx. 500 analytic cases annually) Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
- Active California license
- BLS
- Must have 2 years of recent inpatient clinical activity
- Must explain any >3-month gaps in work history
- Must provide case logs if applicable
- Clean file strongly preferred (required for Feb start) Compensation
