You will dig deep on research and analytics to understand new opportunities and trends, partner closely with a stellar cross‑functional team of engineers, product managers, designers, and business development, define new revenue streams, and unlock growth.
Key Responsibilities
Operate: Own and optimize performance metrics related to Merchant success on DoorDash.
Analyze: Use SQL and Excel to uncover insights on consumer and Merchant behavior, pricing and logistics dynamics, and product performance.
Diligence: Conduct expert interviews and market research to understand new markets and opportunities.
Build: Help craft the long‑term strategy for how DoorDash becomes the best place for Merchants to grow their entire business.
Collaborate: Work closely with the CPG team, platform affordability team, marketing, finance, merchant teams, product, and other partners to bring new ideas to life.
Qualifications
2-4+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, investment diligence, revenue management, or a related analytical role.
Owner mindset: Take accountability for results and continuously raise the bar on your work.
Entrepreneurial: Thrive in zero‑to‑one environments and are eager to test, build, and scale.
Analytical: Comfortable navigating ambiguity through quantitative and qualitative data and insight, and capable of self‑serving in SQL and Excel.
Research: Conducted company and market diligences end‑to‑end.
Nice‑to‑have: Python and experience using AI coding and analytics tools.
First‑principles thinking: Break down problems rigorously and challenge assumptions.
Versatile: Alternate between executional detail and high‑level strategy with ease.
Resilient: Embrace change, tackle hard problems, and stay focused in an evolving environment.
Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration or a relevant field, and a passion for building the future of local commerce.
