Job Overview As the General Manager, you lead all aspects of the store’s operations, overseeing production, sales, and human resources. You develop a professional staff, strive for maximum revenue, and ensure customer and employee satisfaction. A deep understanding of production and product quality is essential. We seek leaders with teamwork commitment, a customer‑focused mindset, and a passion for doughnuts.
Responsibilities
You serve as a role model for customer‑first behaviors according to company standards.
Build a team of customer‑focused employees through coaching and performance management.
Ensure all products meet Krispy Kreme quality standards, guaranteeing customer satisfaction.
Maintain all store property in good working condition.
Direct and manage store sales efforts, including Hot Light times, retail sales, fundraising, and suggestive selling.
Achieve business plan objectives and profitability according to the store operating plan and established financial goals.
Demonstrate safety consciousness and promote store safety, such as shoes, floor cones, etc.
Maintain a high level of store sanitation and cleanliness.
Handle any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience in QSR or retail management.
Ability to work required schedules, including holidays and weekends.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Commitment to fostering an equitable, unbiased culture where employees can showcase their originality.
Clean driving record (3 years) and DOT Medical Examiner Card eligibility.
Travel requirement: 0‑10%.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly.
Exposure to fluctuating temperatures, noise, allergens (including nuts), and known environmental conditions.
Adherence to dress code policy applicable to the role.
