Who you are: Geotab is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Connected Devices who will direct product development from conception to launch and is responsible for discovering, developing and carefully cultivating existing and new connected device solutions to support Geotab’s growth in core business segments. This is a strategic role that will determine the roadmap to evolve the expansion of Geotab’s device solutions across fleet segments. What you’ll do: As a Senior Product Manager, Connected Devices, your key area of responsibility will be understanding the solution set needed to support the growth of existing and new business segments, and the end‑to‑end products that unlock value for these customers. You will own the development of a comprehensive product roadmap, ensuring alignment across internal stakeholders while driving the execution of strategic initiatives that support long‑term business objectives. You will need to work closely with UX designers, developers, data scientists and other stakeholders and technical project managers toward execution.

To be successful in this role you will be a self‑starter, resourceful with strong analytical skills with the ability to problem‑solve to well‑judged decisions, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. In addition, the successful candidate will have a strategic mindset, with a keen sense of priorities, along with an ability to pivot as the landscape changes, and well‑defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills.

How you’ll make an impact:

Understand the solution set needed to support the growth of existing and new business segments, and the end‑to‑end products that unlock value for these customers.

Own the development of a comprehensive product roadmap, ensuring alignment across internal stakeholders while driving the execution of strategic initiatives that support long‑term business objectives.

Leverage various research methodologies and data‑driven market analysis to identify common patterns, pain points, problems to be solved/jobs to be done and use this to drive product strategy.

Lead high‑impact customer discovery initiatives to establish & refine value propositions and product fit.

Drive prioritization across project stakeholders, aligning efforts with overall business and product strategy.

Establish reporting and monitoring frameworks that measure success (both qualitative and quantitative) across multiple product dimensions.

Design and implement feedback loops at scale, ensuring continuous alignment with market needs.

Ensure company‑wide understanding of product efforts, regularly communicating the Why at senior leadership forums and cross‑departmental meetings.

Lead complex problem and solution validation, ensuring strategic alignment and providing direction on critical solutions.

Oversee the translation of needs into detailed epics and initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall product strategy.

Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and internal teams to continuously make improvements to products that are launched.

Lead efforts to enhance product management frameworks, mentoring other product managers and contributing to company‑wide initiatives.

What you’ll bring to the role:

5‑8+ years experience in product management.

Experience in hardware and embedded product development is highly valued.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong presentation skills (in person and virtually) and ability to deliver training effectively.

Ability to stitch together disparate insights to uncover common patterns.

Self‑starter, resourceful with strong analytical skills with the ability to problem‑solve to well‑judged decisions.

Well‑defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills.

Relevant Degree/Diploma i.e. Specialization in Design, HCI, User Experience, Research Psychology, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
