Senior Project Manager

The company manages everything from small commercial installations to large solar builds and is known for its strong technical talent, collaborative culture, and dedication to advancing clean energy.
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, scheduling, design coordination, procurement oversight, and construction support for commercial solar projects ranging from 500 kW to 25 MW. The role will manage the full project lifecycle from post‑contracting through close‑out, ensuring schedules, budgets, materials, and subcontractors remain aligned at every stage.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong experience in commercial solar or commercial construction, a deep understanding of project scheduling, excellent subcontractor management skills, and the ability to oversee multiple large projects simultaneously while mentoring the broader project management team.
Key responsibilities
include:
Leading project planning, scheduling, and procurement for 500 kW–25 MW solar projects.
Coordinating design, engineering, construction, procurement, and sales teams.
Managing schedules, budgets, material deliveries, and subcontractor performance.
Developing scopes, negotiating contracts, reviewing documents, and ensuring compliance with permitting, inspections, and field operations.
Mentoring internal project management staff.
Qualifications
3+ years of project management experience on C&I and utility‑scale solar projects.
Strong project scheduling skills, ideally using critical path theory.
Experience overseeing subcontractors, materials, budgets, and construction operations.
Knowledge of solar construction, permitting, inspections, and commercial field operations.
Proficiency with Google Suite, Salesforce, NetSuite, or similar project tools.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to supervise and mentor internal project management staff.
Preferred certifications: OSHA 10, OSHA 30, PMP, NABCEP.
