Responsibilities
In partnership with laboratories, standardize maintenance activities and processes to achieve desired results while optimizing costs.
Using the standard LIFE in Maintenance methodology, perform diagnostics and co‑build a maintenance roadmap with each lab to increase machine uptime across the network.
Provide standards and tools and accompany maintenance teams in their implementation to sustain activities.
Define a reliability plan for each lab for the most critical equipment and pilot it at lab and zone level.
Define and standardize the “Make or Buy” strategy for US facilities and serve as the privileged interlocutor with main suppliers (Satisloh, MEI, Schneider, SIEM, A&R).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in maintenance or industrial engineering with more than 10 years of experience as Maintenance Manager or Operational Excellence Manager in industry with complex micro‑millimeter precision equipment.
Excellent knowledge in general maintenance: mechanics, electrics, electronics, automation, hydraulics, pneumatics.
Results‑oriented, able to work in a transversal environment, give direction and ensure proper implementation of standards, structured, excellent analytical and quantitative problem‑solving, able to communicate complex technical issues simply and effectively, autonomous and organized.
Traveling: Up to 75% of the time.
