July 18th, 2025 – The Product Manager for GenAI at GE Vernova plays a crucial role in developing and executing GenAI‑powered products that transform business processes. This role is essential to our mission of pioneering AI‑driven innovation and enhancing user experiences across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership and Development: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including business, engineering, and research, to develop and execute product roadmaps that align with strategic objectives.
Roadmap input: Provide input, alongside the Portfolio Manager, to build the product roadmaps.
Technical Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, IT, and designers to ensure the development of robust AI solutions, maintaining technical rigor and introducing new methods for verifying success and identifying risks.
User Experience: Focus on delivering exceptional user experiences by understanding and addressing user needs in AI applications.
Cross‑Business Coordination: Support the coordination of GenAI applications to drive improvements and innovations across Vernova.
Data‑Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics to measure product performance and make informed decisions. Define and monitor metrics and KPIs to ensure the success and impact of AI initiatives.
Post‑Launch Support: Monitor product performance post‑launch, gather user feedback, and iterate on product features to enhance value delivery.
3rd‑party solutions: Oversee the interjection of GenAI products coming from 3rd‑party software suppliers and determine the best technology fit.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with 10–15 years’ relevant experience.
Experience with GE/GE Vernova highly preferred.
Business Acumen: Ability to integrate business strategy with technical initiatives.
Leadership: Proven leadership in managing cross‑functional teams and projects.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and occasionally C‑Suite executives.
Experience building and deploying AI applications.
Problem‑Solving Skills: Analytical skills to identify and solve risks and challenges.
Technical Proficiency and Data‑Driven Mindset.
Must be 18 years or older.

Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is $152,000 – $254,000 USD, annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s education and skill set. This position may also be eligible for a sign‑on incentive and new hire equity grant based on meeting certain eligibility criteria.
