ServiceNow Functional Business Analyst
– Boston, Massachusetts (Contract). Salary: $33.79‑$43.79 per hour. Work hours: 8 am to 5 pm.
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to drive platform enhancements, process mapping, and change enablement for ServiceNow ITSM and HR modules. The ideal candidate will transcribe business needs into functional solutions, maintain process documentation, and lead continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
Responsibilities
Work with stakeholders to capture requirements for ITSM, catalog items, workflows, ITSM processes, or other platform enhancement requests.
Convert business requirements into functional requirements/user stories.
Validate OOB capabilities versus customization needs.
Maintain process documentation.
Perform UAT coordination, stakeholder alignment, and release readiness.
Drive continuous improvement and identify automation opportunities.
Drive sprint planning with Product/Process owners.
Represent enhancements and changes on platform at CAB for approvals.
Lead workshops, solution reviews, demos, and UAT sessions.
Qualifications
5+ years hands‑on ServiceNow experience.
Strong functional knowledge of ITSM and HRSD modules.
Strong understanding of ITIL and HR process workflows.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – required.
ServiceNow ITSM Implementation Specialist (preferred).
ITIL v3/v4 Foundation (preferred).
